HEALTHY FRUITY YEE SANG

Yee sang is generally a healthy dish and makes a great appetising start to the festive CNY dinner.
But I often don't enjoy the artificial colours, especially in the deepfried flour squiggles that makes up part of the "rainbow" yee sang.
Imagine how pleased I am to find the Fruits and Garden Yee Sang offered at Pullman Kuala Lumpur's Tai Zi Heen Chinese restaurant a naturally refreshing change. The chef has used fresh salad leaves in green and red, with sliced red radish, alfalfa sprout, pear, mango and strawberries.

Not only are there no coloured additions but even the dressing is a house-made fruity strawberry sauce. Such a yummy dish we wipe the plate clean.  Price from RM68.
